Easier Slow Cooker Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin

I didn't have red chile pepper or the onion but I made it anyway. I cooked it on low for 6.5 hours and it turned out perfect and moist! It smelled great after a long day of shopping. I used a can of chicken broth, half a can of teriyaki sauce and a half a cup of brown sugar. I then added some of the gravy to a sauce pan and thickened it with cold water and cornstarch. It was EASY and AWESOME :)

Brown Sugar Smokies

I needed a quick side dish that my husband could prepare for parents day at our son's fraternity. Since he loves these he was willing to do the prep work. He even went to the store and bought all the supplies! Friday night he rolled 120 smokies and Saturday morning we covered them in brown sugar and stuck them in the oven. Once they were done we put them in a slow cooker on warm and plugged it into a car power inverter for the two hour car ride. As you can guess they were a hit at the fraternity! By the time we got to the buffet they were already gone!! This is a great recipe, especially if you need your husband's help with a side dish.

Grilled Turkey Tenderloin

Chicken and Bow Ties with Creamy Sun Dried Tomato Sauce

put the sun-dried tomatoes in a colander and then press them with paper towels to get out as much oil as possible. This will create a more creamy sauce.

Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Perfection

I served this for a dinner party for 18 women, they loved it! I butterflied the chicken so I had two smaller pieces (My store sells bionic (giant) chicken breasts) I stuffed them and folded them over and secured with two tooth picks. I allowed the filling to be somewhat exposed which showcased the bright reds and greens of the filling. I did not include the mushrooms and I diced the tomatoes. I did prepare the day before adding the parmesan topping right before putting in oven. For the topping I used italian style bread crumbs and p. cheese with a little butter for a slightly richer taste. Great!

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Very very good! I added black beans, canned corn and used diced tomatos with green chili's. I also substituted chicken broth for the water. Cook the chicken in the crock pot and cut up after 4 hours on low. I let it continue cooking for about 3 more hours. I have been looking for this recipe for a long time. It's perfect!

Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker

Made this for my family and everyone loved it. I did use red hawaiian salt (Williams Sanoma) I used a baggie over my hand to rub the salt and liquid smoke over the pork so my hand didn't smell like liq. smoke. I cooked it on high for about 6 hours, removed the pork and the fat and shredded the meat. I drained the liquid then placed in the freezer to strain the fat. Added the shredded pork to the crock pot with some of the strained liquid. Cooked for 2 more hours...perfect!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

This soup is very good. I don't really like chili beans so I used dark red kidney beans instead. I drained and rinsed the beans and the corn to help reduce some of the sodium. I served it for our chuch small group and everyone really enjoyed it.
