Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Fabulous! I added cinnamon and nutmeg to the syrup, and mixed half the syrup with the apples then poured the other half over the top...I made a tight weaved lattice top for the pie and wanted to make sure the syrup got through to the apple. Best apple pie ever!

Almond Filling

Delicious! I added 1 tsp vanilla extract for a little extra, and doubled the recipe for a three layer 9" cake. Yum!

Honey-Mustard Macaroni Salad

Great twist on classic macaroni! The hint of honey mustard is just right...present but not overpowering. New family picnic favorite!
