Amish Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2009
I made this bread today and it is very good. My bread maker is higher capacity (2, 2 1/2 or 3 lb. loaves) so I increased the serving size to 18 to make a bigger loaf using the online calculator and figured it would be an experiment if it came out ok. It did come out ok, and made a nice big tall, loaf that is delicious. Thank you for the recipe, it is a keeper! This is so much better than store bought bread!!

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2004
Very good! This is the first time I've made banana pudding, or tasted it, and this recipe was wonderful. I followed it exactly, and used an oval, clear glass dish that made the presentation of it look great. It's a great party dish because it makes alot. We had enough leftover from our dinner party of 6 to pack some up for friends to take home. We finished our leftovers tonight. YUM! Thanks for a great recipe!

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2004
Wonderful potato salad recipe! I made it yesterday for a party and everyone loved it. My fiance, who doesn't even really care for potato salad, said this one is a keeper. I found that the red potatoes I used needed to cook longer than 15 min., maybe because they were the larger red potatoes and not the small ones. Also, I used a little less than 1 and 1/2 cups mayo, and a scant 1/2 cup sour cream and it was wonderful. Thank you for this recipe, it will be part of my permanent recipe folder!

Cranberry Pistachio Biscotti

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2002
These biscotti have become a standard at my home. I follow the recipe exactly as stated without trouble, and I always get compliments. I find the shelled pistachios at Trader Joes, and actually the dried (not sweetened) cranberries too. I always double the recipe and use a total of 3 cups pistachios which does seem like alot, but they are so tasty I wouldn't think of using less. Thank you for this recipe, it's one of my favorites!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2002
Wow! I sit here with one of these cinnamon rolls by my side. They came out just great! I took the advice of others and baked at a lower temp, I used 385 and let them go for 20 minutes. Perfect. Next time I'm going to toast some chopped pecans and add them with the brown sugar/cinnamon mix. Anyone know how many WW points to these? :)

Broccoli Cheese Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2001
I tried this last night for my boyfriend and I and we loved it. I did use 1 cream of mushroom and 1 cream of chicken soup and it came out just fine. I think next time I might add more broccoli because I love it. I also didn't add the water chestnuts because I didn't have any on hand, but it was just great the way it was. Thanks! I'll be making this again.
