I'm a very busy working mom of 2 little boys who is always looking for quick and easy yummy recipes. I love cooking and I love making new recipes.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook everything. I love trying new recipes, Thai, Indian, and Mexican are some of my favorites. I love baking cookies, breads, cakes, and pies. I really just enjoy spending time in the kitchen especially being able to get my children involved.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love cooking for Thanksgiving and Christmas. My mom and dad both worked while I was growing up so Christmas dinner usually was lasagne or stuffed shells, and I love still doing a smaller Christmas dinner, but I'm also looking forward to having my children help me cook.
My cooking triumphs
Making Thai cocnut chicken soup, and Thai fried noodles. Learning how to decorate cakes. My next task, Sushi.
My cooking tragedies
Macroons at Christmas time. They turned into one big coconut, sweetened condensed milk mush. There are too many to post them all. You try something and if it does not turn out try something different next time.
