Quinoa and Black Beans

Loved this recipe! I slightly toasted the quinoa with the onion and garlic before adding the vegetable broth. This really brings out the flavor! I also added grilled chicken at the end. This meal is very low fat, nutritious, and tasty!

Baked Spaghetti

This recipe is delicious and easy to make! I normally use ground beef, but occasionally I substitute it for sweet Italian sausage. I also spray the pan with non-stick spray instead of lining it with aluminum foil. It comes out great every time!

Savory Deviled Eggs

Best deviled egg recipe ever!! Savory is definitely the word to describe them. I trash half a yolk to slightly reduce the overflow of filling. I also add an 1/8 teaspoon of pickle juice to make the dill flavor stronger.

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

I give this recipe 4 stars because it truly is a fool proof way to cook a juicy turkey. I knocked off one star because I felt like the onion soup added a sort of fake flavor to the turkey. I will try to season it with real herbs and spices next time. I used a 3 pound boneless turkey, and cooked it for about 1 hour on high and 3 1/2 hours on low as another user did. I also added a half cup of chicken broth to keep it moist.

Italian Chicken Skillet

This dish is absolutely amazing! I substituted sweet Italian sausage as another user did. It blended perfectly with the sweet and rich flavors from the sauce. It is so easy to make, and I love one dish meals! I might even double the recipe next time because everyone was left wanting more.

Easy Corned Beef and Cabbage

This is the first corned beef and cabbage recipe I have ever made. It was so good that I have no need to ever try another. Besides the fact that it was very easy to make, it tastes amazing! My boyfriend says it is his new favorite dish. The only thing I would recommend is to trim the majority of fat off of the brisket because it tends to either stay on the meat, or melt off into your vegetables.
