Slow Cooker Apple Cider Braised Pork
Superb!! Just made this for tonight's dinner, & it was delicious!! The pork roast out of the slow cooker tasted yummy, and then to pour the sauce over it - explodes with flavor!! I really liked how the whole place smelled while the pork was simmering in the slow cooker. Delicious & easy!! Hooray for yet another excellent recipe from "Chef John"!!

Chef John's Macaroni and Cheese
I just made this recipe & had to alter a couple things - not because I wanted to, but just going with things I had on hand. I am currently not living in the US so getting some ingredients at the local store isn't always something I can do. Instead of panko crumbs or bread crumbs of any sort, I ground up Bugles (how I can get those & not breadcrumbs is a mystery to me!!). It turned out excellent!! It was just the right amount of ooey, gooey cheesy-ness plus tangy from the cayenne pepper and Dijon mustard (had to substitute Spicy Brown mustard). Will make again and again and again!! Thanks!!

Mexican Rice III
AWESUM!! Just browsing this site for what to do with leftover taco meat & stumbled across this recipe. I made as is & added warmed-up taco meat at the end! Yummy for a cold winter's night! Will make again & may try adding shredded colby-jack cheese as I'm a fiend about the cheese! Thanks for a simple, delicious recipe that doesn't use any canned ingredients - just fresh vegetables.
