Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

DELICIOUS!!! The only thing I changed was using chicken stock instead of beer and making the taco seasoning mentioned in the reviews. This is SO yummy and such a different meal. LOVE IT!!!

Five Flavor Pound Cake II

I thought this was really good. I only had butter, vanilla, and lemon flavoring. I thought it had too much lemon flavor but my guests LOVED it and I brought one to work and they loved it. Very moist.... It does make an odd amount of batter. I made one loaf and one small bundt.

I thought these were pretty good. In my opinion, they were a bit much. I followed the recipe exact except left out the peanuts. I gave them a 5 because I brought them to work and they LOVED them!

Chocolate Mint Candies Cookies

These are delicious. I brought them to a graduation party and got RAVE reviews from everyone. I followed to a T. I personally thought the cookies were delish even without the mint. I did put 1/2 a mint on some, a full one on the smaller cookies seemed to be too much. But delicious!!!

Angel Chicken Pasta

Oh I had high hopes for this one, but I just didn't love it. I could not get past the look of it, it just looks gross.... and doesn't smell that great. It tasted ok, but I would suggest 1/2 a packet of the dressing mix or double the recipe with 1 packet of dressing.... but it needed more sauce to cover the pasta, which by the way, was disgusting to eat with this sauce, it just wasn't right. I think another reviewer was right about saying rice would be better with this than the suggested pasta. I think I'm being very kind in giving it 4 stars. I will say, my husband ate the leftovers and he said it was pretty good. I was just waiting to be wowed I guess and wasn't.

Chocolate Truffle Cookies

These were delicious! I thought they were very chocolatey but true chocaholics love them. I took them to work and the people were drooling over them. I didn't roll them in powdered sugar before, but sprinkled them after. I didn't change a single thing, and I baked them for 10 minutes exactly. They were perfect!

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

This one I gave 4 stars because I didn't exactly follow it, but I think it deserved less. I didn't fry the chicken but did boneless and baked them. The sauce was ok, but nothing spectacular, which is why I gave a 4. May have been better if fried, but I wasn't feeling it.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Delicious!!! I used only ground beef and used a can of jalepeno's drained because my grocery store was all out of the fresh ones and I thought it was perfect. I didn't change anything else. Very delish and not too much heat, just enough!

Apple Crisp II

Delicious! I would use less water. I used 1/4 cup and it was very watery at the bottom. It wasn't a "sauce" like others mentioned. I wouldn't use Granny Smith- I used 1/2 Granny and 1/2 Cortland, I never use Granny and I can see why, too tart for me. Otherwise, I made 1/2 extra topping and it was perfect with 1 and 1/2 the topping. Yummy overall!

Tiramisu Layer Cake

I brought this to a dinner party and must admit I didn't get rave reviews. My friend who LOVES tiramisu was not that impressed, she said too much Kahlua. I actually agree BUT I am giving it 5 stars because I thought it was absolutely delicious. I made it again yesterday simply because I wanted to perfect it...... 1st time I used "Heavy Whipping Cream" and the frosting was great.... I did 2 coffee layers and it was delish, a little too much Kahlua for my tastes. 2nd time I used just Heavy Cream and it didn't whip good at all. I whipped it for twice as long as the previous time and it wouldn't form. Don't know why. 2nd time I did as the recipe called, 1 coffee layer, I like it better this way.... although I did pour more coffee onto the layers. Depending on your tastes, I would cut back the Kahlua. Also, it's so easy to pour the coffee on the cakes if you flip them over. That's what I did and it came out great. This cake is extremely easy to make (in my opinion) and very pretty.

Tomato-Cream Sauce for Pasta

This is really delicious, I love it. My only problem is it's a little too soupy, like it doesn't stick to the pasta. I will make sure I drain my pasta more next time and I love a chunky sauce so I didn't take others advice on blending the tomatoes so they're smooth. I wish I had because I think that would have helped with my runny sauce problem. After it cools down a little, it thickens up. I might take another person's advice and put a little tomato paste in. Otherwise, this is just so delish!

Pizza On The Grill I

Ok, I was beyond sceptical about this, even after reading all the reviews, I still didn't think it was possible. And then I tried it, and 1/2 the dough was cooking and 1/2 wasn't (obviously due to the way I had it on my grill), after some perfecting, this is just awesome. Seriously, who ever thought you'd make a pizza on a grill.... I'm not kidding when I say it will never be made in the oven again. DELISH!

Caesar Salad Supreme

I thought this was pretty good. I didn't like the dressing that much, too much mayo taste for me. I liked the home made croutons with it, but to be honest I threw the dressing away because I just didn't love it.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

I have to say, I didn't think the "salsa" was that great but I LOVED the chips. It seemed like a lot of chopping for a mini fruit salad. I used blueberry preserves. But the chips were great. They took me like 5 seconds to put together and came out perfect.

Pizza Pinwheels

I think these are terrific! I made them last night as a snack using reduced fat cresents (store brand!)and pre sliced thin pepperoni. I tried with sprinkling italian seasoning in them and with no seasoning, my husband wasn't a fan of the seasoning but I thought they were great either way. I am baffled by the reviews about these being messy and time consuming?? I rolled these up and finished in less than 10 minutes and I got mozzerella sprinkled a little here and there but I just wiped it up! I didn't freeze them either, I had no problems cutting them. And trust me, if I can make these easily anyone can, because I am a novice cook! I will make these again and again!!!

Party Punch I

I made this for a home party I had and everyone LOVED it! I used the white grape juice and passion fruit and I didn't put the lemons/limes in ice cubes, i just cut them into circles and let them float. I then made it for a baby shower and again it got rave reviews. This is awesome for parties!

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Ok this recipe is awesome. If you like garlic, this is it! I thought this was the strangest combination, cheddar and garlic, but I was SO SO SO happy with the results. I've been searching for the perfect chicken recipe that you can use with anything and this is it for me! I really didn't change anything but used italian bread crumbs, no parsley or oregano (used italian seasoning instead) and we always cook with Promise Light (butter substitute) so I used that, and it lowered the calories a bit. It was beyond perfect for me. I wanted to make it every day this weekend. LOVED it! It was so garlicy and moist. I didn't find it mushy, just moist. I could go on and on about this. I would give this 10 starts but that's just me!!! LOVE IT!
