Harvested Chicken Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2013
Very bland even after seasoning with salt, pepper, and garlic. Then added chicken bouillion cube, little better but not enough to have seconds.

Vanilla Glaze

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2012
Will add this to my recipe box. Did have to add a little extra milk. Also, warmed it up in to microwave for a few seconds and it poured wonderfully and set up in just a few minutes!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2011
First attempt at apple pie! Easy and very good. Will probably add some cinnamon next time. Used deepdish pie crust for bottom crust and cut reg pie crust into strips for lattice top.

Cream Cheese Pound Cake III

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2011
This is my go-to pound cake recipe. I've made it in bundt pans, cupcake tins, and round layers. always turns out great. Plus, add a package of butterscotch chips and 1/2 c chopped pecans to make it extra special!

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2010
Made exactly according to directions and they came out perfectly. I used the smallest Pampered Chef scooper and they came out in uniform shape. I did double the cinnamon/sugar mixture. Next time will use all butter. I also refrigerated the dough between bakings.

German Chocolate Cake Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2010
Easy and tasted great. Made for a bake sale and all were sold. I used my Pampered Chef small scoop which made all the cookies the same size. Dusted with confectioners sugar.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2010
I baked this in pint-sized jars to give as Christmas presents. The recipe makes 8 jars (probably 9 but I baked a little bit in a mini loaf pan just to try it!). Also added dried cranberries. Was good but next time I will substitute applesauce for some of the oil.

Cream Cheese Pound Cake I

I have made this cake for many years now but I add a package of butterscotch chips and only 1 tsp of vanilla flavoring. Super delicious even made into cupcakes!

Mom's Turkey Sausage Patties

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2009
This is soooo good and easy!! I bought only one lb of the cheaper ground turkey (so I wouldn't waste as much money if I didn't like it) and halved the recipe. Wish I had bought more. Fried up all the patties (I made eight) for reheating later. Yummy!! Will try this with chili as some reviewers suggested.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2009
This soup is SO good and SO simple! I don't measure the potatoes, just peel them until I get a cramp in my hand, probably more than 3.5 Cs. This soup is so good you will want to make it last longer! Would still be delicious even without the ham.

Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

Reviewed: May 6, 2009
I was this for a Cinco De Mayo party at work. It was a BIG hit with everyone asking for the recipe. I made it exactly as the recipe states (except I only had American? vanilla flavoring). Almost skipped buying the honey but am glad I didn't. It gave it that extra little umph! Very Good!

Vickie's Beer Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2009
My husband and I don't drink beer so when I had to buy beer to make the French Dip sandwiches I didn't know what to do with the extra beer. Thank you Allrecipes.com. This bread was very easy and delicious. Looking forward to experimenting with it, maybe making rolls/biscuits with it! ****3/38/10-made rolls out of the dough. Spooned it into cupcake pan (made 15). Baked 350 for 15 min. Don't forget to pour the melted butter on top before baking, otherwise looks kind of anemic!

Sesame Parmesan Zucchini

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2009
This was really good....good enough to make again. I only used half the cayenne pepper and it was still kinda spicy. Was just enough for my husband and me.

BBQ Glazed Homemade Meatballs

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2009
This was so delicious!! The sauce was fantastic. You really do need to use a larger dish than medium as specified. My medium dish was full after half the meatballs were made so I made a small meatloaf! Highly recommend you to try this one.

Egg Drop Soup II

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
This was delicious!! I halved the recipe just to make sure it was good. It's a good thing I did because I ate the whole bowl. Only WW pt per serving. I did add an extra egg white and the sesame oil someone suggested. Will be making this offen!

Chocolate Caramel Candy

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
These are actually easy to make. I use my microwave to melt the chips/pnut butter layers and caramel layer. I also make the middle layer in the microwave, just watch the time when mixture begins to boil and boil for 5 min on high or 50-80% power, depending on your microwave. Does taste like a Snickers!!

Wonderful and beautiful!! The cookies turned out great! I can't wait til Valentine's Day to use it again. It really does need more milk than 2 tsp though.

Overnight Bubble Bread

Easy, easy, easy and good, good, good!! I'm always asked for the recipe whenever I fix this. I do chop my pecans up instead of using pecan halves, though!
