These were absolutely delicious lemon bars. They were very simple and easy to make. I juiced two lemons and addded tblsp of lemon juice and they were the perfect tartness. My entire family LOVED these. THey are very pretty cut into squares and then cut diagonally into triangles.

Becky's Oatmeal Carmelitas

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2009
These are an absolute new favorite at our house - they are delicious and very easy to make. People think they are a gourmet cookie bar and always ask for the recipe. I have made them both with caramels and with hersheys or ghiradelli caramel sauce. Both taste great - I dont prefer one over the other in taste but like not having to unwrap all the caramels. Thanks for the recipe - amazing!

Tanya's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
AMAZING FLAVOR! The almond extract makes all the difference in this cookie. I followed this recipe almost exactly, only adding a bit of nutmeg to the batter, and they turned out perfect!!! My kids and husband LOVE snickerdoodles and love the crunch around the edges and the soft chewy inside. Will make again!

Cheesy Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2008
I liked the idea of this salad but I had to make so many changes (some mine and some from others) I cant give it a 5. CUT OUT THE SUGAR ALTOGETHER. I made it with half the suggested amount and it tasted weird sweet so I put some vinegar in and that balanced it out a bit but I suggest not using any sugar. I added boiled eggs, lots of salt, pepper and some other seasonings. I also used a whole bag of bacon bits and it tasted very good. I would make this type of salad again but dont know that this recipe is the best one to use.

Luscious Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2008
This was WAAAAAAY to sweet even for buttercream frosting. I might make it again trying to use 1/2 of the powdered sugar. IT looked pretty and was easy to make but just overpowering sweet.

Easiest sugar cookie I have ever made. THe only thing I changed was that I added 1 more tsp of vanilla and they had a perfect flavor. VERY SIMPLE and QUICK to make. Almost foolproof. Double-Peanut Double-Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2008
My kids and husband LOVE these cookies! They are dense, flavorful, and filling. Not to mention, a pretty little cookie! I did add 1/4 tsp salt, added 1/2 cup flour, and used salted butter. I also cooked the cookie for 12 1/2 minutes at 340 and they turned out perfect. Any longer or at 350 and they got crispy and started to burn. My cookies were shaped perfectly and did not go flat like other readers..... I will be making these again! ;) THanks for the recipe.

Jeanne's Chocolate Kiss Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2008
I followed the recipe exactly and these turned out super flat and greasy. I never have problems with cookie recipes and this was one was a total bust. I am not sure what the problem was. I let the dough chill for 35 minutes because it was like frosting instead of dough until it chilled. My family liked the taste but I think they are way to greasy and looked ugly. I wont be making these cookies again.

Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2008
This was a good basic recipe which my husband and young children loved. I altered it however by adding onion salt, garlic, seasoning salt and some other seasonings to give it some flavor. I didnt cook in lard (I used canola oil instead) and didn't make the gravy. I used a country gravy package with half and half milk....made it taste very rich and delicious. Definately a meal to eat when you are not watching what you are eating, full of fat but very good comfort food.
