Super Easy Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2009
Great recipe. My husband and I like spice, so we didn't change that. I added a can of diced tomatoes and a green pepper. Thank you!

Cod au Gratin

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2007
I really liked this. It was easy to make. I only made half a batch, after reading some of the other reviews, I added 1 tsp. Old Bay, 1/2 tsp. Tony's, and 1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder in with the flour. I also layered the sauce and cheese. Definately will make again. Thank you.

Stephanie's Freezer Spaghetti Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2006
Thank you SO much. This is so good. I only made half a batch, but my boyfriend said it was the best spaghetti he'd ever eaten and at the top of the list of one of his favorite meals ever. I followed the recipe pretty closly I omitted the oil, added a jar of mushrooms, a bay leaf, and a little red pepper flake; and cooked it on the stove. Can sauce will never be the same.

Stuffed Zucchini

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2006
I changed the recipe a bit, instead of "stuffing" the zucchini I chopped it all up and made it more casserole like. I substituted minute rice for the bread crumbs. I topped with parmesan and mozzeralla. However, there was way too much liquid when it was done. It was like soup. I will make this again, add Italian seasoning and less water.

Really Basic Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2005
This is great so when I have a craving for cookies I go to this recipe. My roommate even made these. I used the suggestion for 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup chocolate chips and I will only make them that way from now on. We also used chunky peanut butter. I love this recipe!! Thank you!

Shrimp and Crab Enchiladas

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2005
This was good and EASY to put together. I will make this again, but I also plan on experimenting a liitle. Maybe try a creamier suace, add some spice, or even add more crab meat. I used a cheese blend instead of only Monterey, and only 12 oz of shrimp and it was plenty.

Turkey Polish Sausage and Peppers

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2005
I felt very healthy eating this dish, and my roommate liked it; however, I'm not gonna eat the left overs. I used only 1/2 a pound of mushrooms. I just felt something was missing. I might try this with chicken or beef to see if it turns out differently.

Baked Ziti III

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2004
I liked this, it made TONS! Four adults didn't even eat half! I will try sausage next time as I thought it needed a little more heat, I might also try some chili powder or red pepper flake. My boyfriend said it was perfect the way it was.

Husband's Delight

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2004
This was an easy recipe to make. I utilized other reviews and used sausage and beef. I added garlic and onion while the meat was browning and with the tomatoes added worchestersire and a bit of beer. I also used 8oz of cream cheese and only 8oz of sour cream. I would not layer the ingredients, but mix it casserole style. Boyfriend liked it so I'll make it again.

Bagel Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2004
This was a tasty recipe, but next time I'll use less dill and the pre-packaged thin beef from the deli. I omitted the MSG,and served this dip with a combination of onion and plain bagels. It was good, but I had left overs.

Caramel Apple Pie III

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2003
I used a little over 3 cups of apples and after reading previous reviews, only 1/4 cup of flour. I also left out the lemon juice because I didn't have any on hand. The pie was really sweet, but really good!
