About this Cook
I am a divorced single parent of 4 but only 1 is still at home plus I am pursuing my masters so my family and I have a busy life and we try to eat healthier than in the past which can be challenging.
My favorite things to cook
I love turkey and chicken chili I can hardly wait to eat them when I am cooking them because they always are so good.
My cooking triumphs
I made a whole chicken and a turkey tenderloin in the crock pot and everyone loved them so know my favorite cooking helper is the crock pot. I even made curried chicken that was good in the crock pot.
My cooking tragedies
tried to make some peanut butter cookies and thought I could skip the salt and the dough mixture was warm so my cookies had a flat taste and look plus they spread like crazy.

Healthy Turkey Loaf
I made this and it was really easy and good.Left out the bell peppers because my family does not eat them, added garlic and oregano. My daughter liked it with ketchup, but it was fine to me without.

King Ranch Chicken Casserole III
I added black beans and did it with mild salsa for the tomatoes and pepper omitted the chicken broth used flour tortillas cut into strips, Mexican cheese, 1 tsp of cumin, 1tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper and it was good my 13 year old loved it but I have high blood pressure and could taste all the salt so I probably won't make again unless it is for an event not in my home.
