Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2014
Very flavorful marinade. I used crushed garlic in the marinade. I marinated the chicken all day, and the vegetables separately for two hours. Then I broiled the kabobs and they were great! I would definitely make these again.

Baked Pasta Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2014
A very nice baked pasta casserole. I made it just as submitted. I was surprised at how much sour cream/cream cheese/ricotta there was for the amount of pasta. I thought it might be too rich but it wasn't. I will make this again.

Pork Chops with Tangy Honey Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2014
Very nice marinade. I made the mistake of broiling the chops instead of baking them. Wow. They burned in very little time. Perhaps because of the honey? I will make these chops again and bake them next time.

London Broil I

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2014
I used this marinade on a 1.6 pound top round steak. I marinated the for 24 hours, then my husband grilled the steak to medium rare. Very nice.

Mediterranean Zucchini and Chickpea Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2014
Very nice salad. Definitely mix the dressing ingredients separately as noted by other reviewers. I took it to a party and served it on shredded lettuce. I'm now using the leftovers in tossed salad.

Marinade for Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2014
I made a half recipe for 4 half chicken breasts. Great! I made it as submitted and wouldn't change anything.

Grilled Rosemary Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2014
The chops tasted like soy sauce. We like soy sauce so that was ok. They weren't bad but they weren't great. Next time I would follow some of the changes other reviewers made, including adding some ginger and garlic, fresh rosemary, and maybe some other liquid to dilute the soy sauce.

Best Pork Chop Marinade

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2014
I did not use mesquite-flavored seasoning. I don't even know what it is. But I used all the other ingredients listed and the chops had a wonderful flavor.

Slow Cooker Hungarian Goulash

Reviewed: May 1, 2014
I made this recipe as submitted, and it was a bit bland. The addition of carrots and celery is a very good idea and I will try it next time. Along with twice the paprika and salt.

Mediterranean Vegetable Stew

Reviewed: May 1, 2014
I made this recipe just as it is written and it was great. I was careful not to overcook the eggplant, and I think I cooked it only 8-10 minutes before adding the tomatoes etc. I didn't use feta, which I might next time because I thought this needed a bit of salt.

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2014
I made this recipe as submitted except - I like tomato sauces simmered longer to blend flavors. I cooked and set aside the pasta. Then I made the tomato sauce without the cream and simmered, covered, for 40 min. Then I took it off the heat, let it cool a few minutes, and added the cream. Then I added the pasta, and put the entire dish on a low heat while I made a salad. This worked well. And...we loved the flavors of this dish! I'll definitely make it again.

Latin-Inspired Spicy Cream Chicken Stew

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2014
I made this as submitted except - I used only 1 tsp cayenne. Thank goodness, because even that was quite spicy and I ended up adding the other half of an 8oz block of cream cheese to try to calm it down a bit. I served it over rice. Very, very good.

Minestrone Vegetable Soup

This soup is quite bland. My husband added some Tabasco sauce to his bowl and liked it better after that.

Daria's Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2013
This is an easy and tasty stew recipe that really isn't very much like stroganoff, except it uses sour cream. The sauce is enough for at least 2 or 2.5 pounds of meat.

Italian Vegetable Soup with Beans, Spinach & Pesto

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2013
This soup is easy to make and has a very rich taste. I made the recipe as posted on the site. The bell pepper didn't really add anything to the soup and next time I would use frozen bell pepper strips if at all.

Chocolate Chip-Amaretto Pound Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2013
I'm not sure what went wrong here. I read the reviews and accordingly baked it for a shorter period of time than listed, being careful to take it out of the oven just when it was done. It was dry and crumbly. Maybe it was the cake mix I used. It was nothing like a pound cake. I won't make this again.

Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2013
Nice recipe but the apricot jam and honey overpowered the mustard and curry powder.

Crock-Pot® Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2013
We did not care for this recipe. The recipe, which I made as presented, was bland and soupy. We ate it over rice, with cheese, sour cream and avocado.

Simple Spinach Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2013
We really liked this lasagne. Reading the other reviews helped. I used half spinach and half broccoli. I used an ariabatta sauce (spicy) and ricotta cheese. Also, I did cook the noodles and eliminated the water from the sauce. And I topped the casserole with grated parmesan. My own family recipe is a five star but takes half a day to make. This went together quickly and is a healthier and quicker version of lasagne that I will definitely make again.
