Make sure to season the chicken with salt and pepper for at least 6 hours before frying it.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2013
I used all the spices as suggested. I didn't use pepper because my husband is not a fan, and I used extra ground beef instead of Italian sausage. It turned out excellent!! This will be the chili recipe for us from now on.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
This is such an easy and delicious recipe. I made this for a pot luck and it was a big hit. I tried to make this dish a little healthier by using light sour cream and reduced fat cheeses. I also used 93/7 ground turkey instead of ground beef. I will definitely make this dish again. =)

Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2008
Do not use sweetened condensed milk with the pudding, because it would be wayyyyy too sweet. I would follow the instant pudding recipe from the pudding box. If you don't like too much cool whip, you can use heavy whipping cream to the pudding, but do not use all 8 oz of it, cause then it's going to turn into mousse (unless that's what you want). I would definitely make this dessert again, but with a few alternations.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2004
Excellent cookies. I didn't use any shortening, because I didn't have any on hand. And I used regular butter instead of margarine. Yes, it probably has more calories, but the cookies turned out really really really good. Also, I baked them for exactly 13 minutes. They are soft and chewy.
