Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2004
I LOVE this recipe. I make it about every other week with fun variations each time. Honey sure beats out sugar.

Too sweet. Texture was nice, but otherwise uninteresting.

Orange Fluff I

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2005
Interesting, but the cottage cheese was a bit overpowering. Made for an pukey texture.

Leftover Turkey Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2006
Tried steamed broccoli and mushrooms instead of canned green beans and downplayed the soupy mixture. Good stuff.

Keep to the recipe: don't overdo the honey like I did.

Simple but pleasantly different! Even for the greenbeanophobes like me.

Redfish Court-bouillon

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2006
I really liked the thick sauce (lessened tomato juice as suggested) but unfortunately it didn't soak into the fish so well. But try frying the leftovers for that and you're in business.

Sean's Falafel and Cucumber Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2006
The most colorful falafel I've ever eaten! Don't overdo those breadcrumbs because that's all you'll taste. Sauce fantastic.

Summer Lasagna

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2006
I used spaghetti sauce instead of tomato sauce also, which gave it a very eggplant parmesan feel. Except the zucchini was had a much more appealing texture! I also added some extra veggies like mushrooms and baby spinach just to make it a little more interesting.

Apple Pie Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2006
Definitely added more apples and nixed the cloves. Love to add nuts and craisins and oatmeal and other fun things. Makes me wanna curl up in a big sweater on a leafy autumn day.

Cinnamon Bread I

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2007
This is the bread I make when I have no suitable fruits or vegetables on hand. The cinnamon does just fine on its own. I love it!

Quick Spinach-Ricotta Calzones

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2007
You can defeat the packaged taste of canned dinner rolls and frozen spinach by mixing up the filling. We threw in some ground meat, red pepper flakes, basil, fun cheeses, etc. Really whatever's on hand because it's a pretty versatile recipe.

Snickerdoodles III

Reviewed: May 13, 2007
I chose this recipe in an effort to avoid the shortening in my regular recipe. Texture is a bit different but still delicious.

Goldy's Special Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2007
I didn't even need the vinagrette since the mango and avocado were older and kinda mushy. Delish.

Chocolate Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2010
I downed the baking soda to 1 tsp and used hot cocoa drink mix because I was out of cocoa and so I upped the chocolate (dark chocolate chunks) to 1 cup. Oh yeh we are making these again. Definitely moist!

Chocolate Banana Bread

Dangerously addictive. Especially if you are generous with the banana, sour cream and chocolate, which I highly recommend.

Stuffed Endive

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
Solid idea. My husband throw random ingredients at me to see how I handle them and this week it was a baby endive. Made a pretty lunch! We adjusted the egg salad recipe to taste.
