Frogmore Stew

Has become our annual Christmas Eve meal!! We add frozen mini corns and we quarter our red potatoes. Instead of water, we use a case of cheap beer, and we throw in 4 cups (yes cups) of shelled garlic cloves. Serve with toasted french bread and smear the oh-so-soft garlic on the bread like it was butter and then sop up the juice with the bread!!

Swedish Nuts II

SOOOOO... Easy!! They were a big hit with the guys especially. I loved the idea of being able to make them a few days ahead of time and then put them in a gallon ice cream bucket till the holidays. Will be made anytime we have guests, just as a nice snack.

Bacon Wrapped Shrimp

Cut your bacon in half, wrap around "pre-cooked" shrimp (we buy ours frozen from Sam's club-Large size), sprinkle CAJUN seasoning on and grill to perfection!!! We always get rave reviews!!! And SOOOO.... EASY!!

Cream Puffs

Use the smallest cookie drop, and only fill that 1/2 to 3/4 full. The cream puffs turn out PERFECT bite size. We used a sugar free french vanilla pudding and then made it with whipping cream. Very rich and full. The recipe is easy and absolutely perfect every time.

Shrimp and Sausage Boil

With a few altercations, mine turned out wonderful!!! Delete onion and lemon, instead, use 1/2 bottle of Mrs. T's bloody mary mix. Put the hot sauce in the boiling mixture, not at the end. Add about twice as much garlic cloves, so when all is done, you use the soften garlic to spread on some dried italian bread. Absolutely delicious. Can also add crab legs.

Sour Cream Sugar Cookies IV

I have been searching for this recipe!!! It is delicious. An elderly lady used to make these for me and bring them into my workplace every Christmas, and they were always so wonderful!!! Unexpectedly she passed away and I was never able to ask her for her cherished recipe. Now I will think of her even more at the holiday time while I am making these with my children now.
