Marinated Flank Steak

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2012
I use this marinade all the time. It is really good on shoulder tenders that I get from Fareway. One trick before putting them on the grill--dry them off after marinading overnight. Otherwise they will steam and not grill.

Easy Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2009
There is a difference between a country and a "city ham" I usually buy a spiral cut pre-cooked ham that just needs to be heated at a low temperature for a couple of hours. So I will try this with the crock pot on low for 2-3 hours.

Basil Shrimp

Very good! This recipe also works well with Salmon. I used the leftover marinade and basted several salmon fillets with it for a cookout I was having. Everyone raved about it. Wonderful!

Minestrone Soup I

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2005
My husband asked for Minestroni soup for dinner and I found this recipe. Wonderful. I had everything on hand except I used fresh parsley and petite diced tomatoes. My kids ate it all up hence, the 5 star rating. Thanks!

Mushroom Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2005
very good for as easy as it is! The pork chops came out tender and flavorful. I have made this several times. I season the pork chops with sage or pork seasoning along with the salt and pepper.

Italian Style Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2004
Very good! I added 2 teaspoons of Fennel seed for some extra kick and added 1 pound of ground pork. I increased the other spices accordingly. I made 2 smaller loaves; freeze one and the other I shaped into a loaf and placed on a broiler pan so the grease drips off and away from the meat. Yum!

Eggplant and Zucchini Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2003
Very nice way to cook eggplant and zucchini. I would add more tomato and maybe some parmesan cheese. I made this for Christmas Eve and family members who liked eggplant really liked this.
