African Curry
Really liked this and the aroma is amazing. Followed the advice of several reviewers by tripling the garlic and more than doubling the curry. Used lite Thai coconut milk to save fat and calories and a can of garlic seasoned petite diced tomatoes as substitutes. Also added a Tbsp of light brown sugar to the coconut milk stage. Served over brown rice. Not spicy at all but that's easy to adjust. My family enjoyed, husband said "great restaurant quality". Will definitely make again.

Special Lobster Bisque
I followed the recipe pretty closely except for the following: added 1/3 cup sherry with the broth, used unsalted butter, left out plain salt and used 1/2 tsp garlic salt & 1/2 tsp Old Bay instead. Instead of whole milk I used 2.25 c nonfat milk & 2.25 c half&half. Left out last addt'l cream and paprika (it's in the Old Bay anyway). Did not have an onion so I used dried minced, 1.5 Tbsp. i pureed the bisque with an immersion blender to distribute the lobster flavor throughout the bisque. This thickens it a bit too. I served with Parmesan garlic bread toasted under the broiler and a nice salad. 4 stars.

Grilled Bacon Jalapeno Wraps
These were fabulous and first appetizer gobbled up at our party. Easy to make, although seeding the jalapeños(30 for me!) can tickle your throat a bit and make your fingertips tingle. Take a fresh air break and wash your hands every so often. We roasted the peppers on our indoor electric grill and turned them over with tongs as the bacon became crispy on each side. Will definitely make again!
