Flourless Chocolate Cake I

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2008
This cake was absolutely the BEST chocolate cake I've ever eaten or made, and that's saying a lot since the only thing I like better than baking desserts is eating chocolate. I made this for Christmas and it was a huge success. My husband couldn't stop eating it or talking about it. This has definately become a staple in my recipe box!

Hugh's Dry Rub

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2006
This rub is fabulous! I put it on everything from chicken to ribs and keep extra on hand in my cupboard! As others have mentioned, I cut both peppers down to half the amount mentioned and it is still spicy enough (and I LOVE spicy food). Try adding brown sugar or even a bit of cinnamon for a hint of sweetness and variety. Overall, this is a wonderful base to start any BBQ rub!

Crab Croissant-wiches

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2006
Wonderful! I made these for a Mother's Day brunch and they were a hit. I used the crab meat now available in pouches similar to tuna by Chicken of the Sea and was pleasently suprised (in quality and $$). Will make these again.

These cookies were just what I was looking for! Only I suggest you cook them for 6 to 7 minutes.

Spicy Spaghetti Squash

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2004
Not bad! A pretty good alternative to pasta, and a great way to sneak in an all veggie meal. You really can't tell the difference.

Peanut Butter Thumbprint Cookies I

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2004
I didn't like this cookie at all! The taste wasn't what I expected (very bland). I will NOT make this again.

Homemade Tomato Sauce I

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2004
This recipe was just what I was looking for! A great way to use up your summer harvest as some others have stated. I like my sauce a little thick, so I took the advice of another reviewer an left the lid off for the last two hours. Also - don't make the mistake I did and overcook the tomatoes in the beginning. It will make it extremely difficult to seed and peel the tomatoes.

All American Roast Beef

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2004
Excellent recipie if you have a good cut of beef and are looking for something simple to enhance the flavor of an already good piece of meat. The combo of spices don't overpower the meat, but season it just right. An added tip - if you have the time season meat and let it marinate overnight.

Korean Marinade

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2004
This marinade was pretty good. I altered the recipie a bit by using red pepper flakes instead of black pepper, and omitted the seseme seeds (because I didn't have any) and flour. I also added rice vinegar to the marinade. Overall, it turned out okay. I would have liked a stronger flavor, more intense flavor.

Leftover Pot Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2002
This recipe was great! I was looking for something to do with all the extra turkey I had from Thanksgiving, and this was PERFECT! Not only was it easy and quick to make, but it was also very tasty. Since it's only me and my husband, I made four mini pies instead of one pie and it still came out great. Even my husband loved them. Tasted even better the next day for lunch!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2000
This cheesecake is delicious! I used Bailey's Irish Cream instead of the milk for a little change, and it came out great! If you are looking for a versitile plain cheesecake, this is definately the one. Only one drawback - the crust came out a little too mushy, but that can be fixed by the amount of butter added when mixing the crust.
