No Time to Cook Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2012
Surprisingly good considering so few ingredients. Made exactly as stated. Pretty basic tasting so I am only giving it 4 stars. Good for a quick throw together crock pot meal.

Swiss Chicken Casserole II

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2012
My family loves this recipe! I use 2 cups of soup because we like extra creamy. With the dressing I add a little water and melt the butter and stir it with a fork just to make it a little softer before adding to the top. This has become a regular at our house. No need for salt - it is plenty salty with the soup. I have used both quick and easy Swiss slices and a good deli Swiss... They both taste good but the deli Swiss was a little better. So don't skimp on the Swiss! Yummmm!! :)

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2012
A big hit at a football party! I was not sure about the mayo mix but it was great! I used fresh jalapenos and baked on 350 for 15 minutes instead of microwave. Had crackers and tortilla chips on hand - personally liked the crackers best. Perfect football pitch in dish!!

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2012
Flavor was ok... Meat was mushy. To be expected I suppose but it did remind me of mystery meat from my high school cafeteria. Flavor was ok... Not too bad for a quick meal.

Cola Pot Roast II

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2012
The best Pot Roast I have ever made!! Cooked in the crock pot ~ 8 hours on low. Doubled soup and extra Cola for more gravy. Also added more carrots because my kids LOVE cooked carrots. Served with mashed potatoes. SOO GOOD!!

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2012
Made this last night and it was really good! The whole family liked it! I baked the pork chops for 30 minutes covered (they were thin chops). I think the time listed in the recipe is way to long. I made the soup/wine mix on the stove and we used it as more of a pour over gravy instead of baking it all together. I liked the idea of the chops staying a little crispier. Overall a tasty meal!!
