Curry Pumpkin Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2012
I made this for a party to accompany a Honey Baked Ham- it was a huge hit! I tripled the recipe and it was almost gone by nights end. I added the onions, a bit of fresh garlic, and some minced ginger as others have done. Definitely a keeper!

Brunch Strata

Delicious! Made the night before and so glad I did! Doubled the recipe and served 34 people for a family reunion brunch. Added yellow squash, and substituted red bell pepper for the green and bulk sausage for the ham. I will definitely make again!!

Pat's Baked Beans

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2010
I made these for a SuperBowl party to go with ribs. They were a big hit! My only changes- half the molasses and bake uncovered. You really can use any beans- I used a combo of white, Northern, kidney and black. Pretty and yummy! Thank you Kelly and Pat!

Wonderful! another tip for peeling the squash- I used a grapefruit spoon - the kind with the serrated edge- for the valleys... worked great! Thanks for an easy and nutritious side!

The Best Chicken Salad Ever

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
Great recipe, but I compromised and only processed about half. It made a great texture. By the way 1/4 cup = 4 tablespoons, so the dressings are half and half ;-)

Spanakopita II

I had a lot of fun making these. I used butter flavored oil spray to help speed up the phyllo-buttering process, but I did follow directions otherwise, and the video was a huge help. I thought they were delicious, but my family did not go nuts over them like I thought they would.

Curried Coconut Chicken

Excellent recipe. It needed salt, and I added 1 zucchini and 1 yellow squash, and some fresh cilantro, and served it on brown rice for a complete meal. A keeper!

Squirrel's Great Beef Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2007
When I first saw this recipe, I thought it was like going through the pantry and throwing stuff together. I've made it twice now, and believe me,this marinade is wonderful! I used KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce, and went very light on the salt. "Su-poib"!
