Mustard Based BBQ Sauce

This is very, very good! I changed the recipe just slightly by reducing the mustard to 1/2 c. and keeping all the other ingredient quantities the same for a bit of a sweeter sauce. I served this was shredded pork. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

Chef John's Grilled Jerk Pork Tenderloin

These were so very good! I did make a few changes, but nothing drastic. Since I was only cooking for two people I used 2 pork chops in place of the tenderloin I also halved the marinade since I was only making a small batch. I omitted the onion, but replaced it with onion powder instead ( just a personal preference). The habanero adds just the right the amount of heat without being too overpowering. When it came time to serve these I whipped up some more marinade mixed with a bit of cornstarch to thicken and used that as a sauce for my chops. This recipe will be going into regular rotation!

Apple Brownies

Not a brownie in any way, shape, or form! I was really hoping for the texture of a brownie with the taste of an apple and this recipe let me down. The cooking time is way off as well. They were alright, but I won't be making them again.

Golden Sweet Cornbread

This is a very good, sweet cornbread recipe. I always follow the recipe exactly, but usually have to bake it closer to 25 minutes. The only dislike I have is the texture seems to be a bit crumbly for my liking, but my other half has deemed it to be perfect.

Fluffy Pancakes

Unfortunately , for myself, this recipe did not live up to the hype of all the five star reviews. I followed the recipe exactly, only to end up with flavorless, goopy, non edible pancakes. I will be avoiding this recipe and finding another.

Pumpkin Bread

This bread is phenomenal! I made only a few slight changes, as I left out the cloves since I had none on hand. I also through in a pinch of salt. It bakes up to a wonderfully moist, delicious cake-y pumpkin bread, I love that it uses the whole can of pumpkin, as it doesn't leave you with an odd amount to find a use for.
