Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
This was excellent! We were looking for something warm for a VERY cold day and this was it! Followed exactly, it is spicy but really good. Topped it off with some sour cream, cheese, green onions and Fritos. Big hit with the family. Thank you!

Easy Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2007
This was really good. I confess I made a couple of changes. I cubed the chicken and cooked it with some onions and garlic, then put it in the baking dish. I added some red pepper and chopped water chestnuts to the sauce. I also put some Colby Jack cheese on the top before the cracker crumbs. I did as others suggested and added melted butter to the crumbs. Thanks for the recipe!

Marinated Spicy Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 13, 2007
My family really enjoyed the flavor of this recipe. I made a few changes though, I used 1 1/2 T of chili sauce, one teaspoon of minced garlic and added 2 t of dijon mustard. I cut down on the soy sauce as well to a 1/2 cup and may even cut it down a little further as the one comment was that it was a little salty.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2007
My husband, who is not a big fan of pork chops is raving that these were the best pork chops he has ever had. Definitely will make again. Now that I have made it once, next time I think I will add some onions to the soup mixture.

Best Ever Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2007
My family really enjoyed this. As others suggested, I went lighter on the mayo (2T) and used sour cream. I also added garlic and basil when I sauteed the chicken.

Peppermint Brittle

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2007
This was okay. I did what others suggested and used a layer of chocolate under the white chocolate, and used shavings of peppermint for flavor, but could have used more.

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2005
This was an excellent recipe. By far the best I've had. I made it for a potluck today and it went over very well. Everyone wants the recipe. Next time I might try adding a little red pepper. Thanks so much for sharing.

Bacon Cheeseburger Upside Down Pizza

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2005
This was really good and easy to make during a busy work week. I left out the tomatoes and green pepper but added pepperoni and mushrooms as well 1T parmesean cheese. I took the advice of others and used a pkg of crescent rolls for the crust and it worked out great. Thanks for the recipe especially my children!

Very good! I would cut down on the dressing next time as another viewer suggested. But I would definitely make again.

I'm sorry this was not what I expected. I cut down on the sugar as suggested and it was still too swwet for our taste.

Winter Fruit Salad with Lemon Poppyseed Dressing

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2005
I made this for a family gathering and it was a hit. For a change, I think I would try roasted pine nuts in it next time. Definitely would make again.

Slow Cooker London Broil

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2005
My family had their doubts when I made this but it turned out pretty well. I would use reduced sodium soup as it was a little salty, but not unbearable. It tastes great over mashed potatoes or rice.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2004
I thought this was very good. The gravy turned out great and there was plenty to go with leftovers for lunch the next day. This might be only me, but I would look for smaller chicken breasts or pound them out more, most of the cheese had melted out by the time they were done.

Chiliquilla

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2004
This was very good! My pickiest eater didn't care for it but the other 3 members of our family enjoyed it. I would make again but stick to using the amount of sauce recommended in the recipe, I think my son would have enjoyed it more if the tortilla strips still had a little crunch to them. Thanks for sharing.

This was fabulous! I did as another suggested and cut down on the sugar, I used 1/2 cup. I also used a 1/4 cup brown sugar with a 1/4 cup white sugar for the topping and added cinnamon before baking. The family loved it! This is definitely one we will enjoy again!

Raspberry Trifle

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2004
This was okay, I think it needs to be a little sweeter, the raspberries may have been too tart. I would probably add a little more sugar to the cream cheese mixture.
