Janet's Rich Banana Bread

This is the best banana bread recipe I've ever made! It is a moist bread which is what I wanted. Tasted even better the second day. Followed exactly other than the nuts. I wanted to make an extra loaf and the recipe doubled easily. Thank you!

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

This was excellent! I followed the suggestions of others and skipped the flour and instead added a little cornstarch at the end. Other than that I followed the recipe. Definitely will make again!!

Refreshing Summer Orzo Salad

I just prepared this salad for our dinner tonight. It is delicious! Not sure if it will actually make it to the table. :) I cut the recipe in 1/2 as there are only 3 of us and it still made a alot. Only change I made was in cutting down the spinach, otherwise I followed the recipe. Thanks for sharing.

Steak Mix-Up

My family enjoyed this. I did as others suggested and simmered the sirloin for about 40 minutes in 1 cup of red wine with a 1/2 c of water with 1 teaspoon of boullion. Once it simmered, I then added my peppers, onions and some baby bellas along with the soup and 1 C canned diced tomatoes with green chiles, then simmered for addtional 15 minutes. Thanks for sharing

Easy Batter Fruit Cobbler

This was fantastic and VERY easy! I used 4 cups of fresh berries; blueberries, blackberries and strawberries. I did add, as another reviewer suggested, cinnamon and nutmeg. I also think I would cut the sugar back next time..maybe a 1/3 to 1/2 cup instead of 3/4.

Sharese's Spaghetti Salad

This was a great spaghetti salad recipe. The bacon really gave it a great taste. I also threw in some cucumbers and used a red pepper instead of green. My husband, who is not a huge pasta salad fan, loved this recipe. Thanks for sharing!

Broiled Chicken with Roasted Garlic Sauce

This was pretty good. As others did previously, I did make a few changes. I marinated the chicken all day in the white wine, added 2 tablespoons of italian herbs and a tablespoon of olive oil. I browned the breasts before putting them in the oven. Since others had a problem with the sauce, I sauteed some onion in the butter, then added the flour and then warm milk and cheese and roasted garlic. I heated it through but it still needed a little something so I added a couple tablespoons of white wine and some some sliced green onions and that did the trick. The chicken definitely is tender and I would make again. Thanks so much for sharing.

Beef Noodle Soup

My kids and I liked this, but my husband wasn't a fan. I took the advice of others and used beef stock instead of water and added 1/4 t of thyme and marjoram as well as 1 bayleaf. After about 2 hours, I tasted and was worried it tasted a little bland so I added a packet of Lipton Onion soup mix. I'm glad I did, it really turned the soup around. I simmered for about 4-5 hours on the stove.

Easy Bacon and Cheese Quiche

This is the best quiche recipe I have tried. I used both Swiss cheese and the Sargento Italian mix. As others suggested, I chopped up some onion and used some cube ham as well.It's an excellent base recipe to alter to your family's taste. Thank you!

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

My family really enjoyed this. I used chuck roast and substituted beef broth for the water. As others suggested, I used 2 packets of zesty italian as well as 1/2 an onion. Made great sandwiches!
