Greek Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2013
We enjoyed this recipe. The dressing was quite strong at first but after sitting in the fridge for an hour it mellowed out. Only thing that was different was the use of gluten free penne. I will definitely be serving this salad again.

This was very tasty. I had some ground pork to use up and thought I would try this recipe. Sure glad I did!!! This makes a LOT of fried rice.

Velvet Corn

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2011
This was fantastic! I scaled down the recipe for 2 of us. I used canned corn, could not find yellow squash so I used a zucchini. No half and half so I used almond milk. Turned out soo good. I did use tabasco but liked it without as well. Thanks B L we really enjoyed this!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2011
I thought the soup was pretty good. I had to change a few things because of the sizes of the cans of ingredients I had on hand. I cooked mine late at night and let cool. By the next morning, the beans and the chicken had soaked up alot of the juices. The spices had had a chance to mellow out. I will definitely add this to my soup recipes.

Charlotte's Tortellini Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2011
I make this soup often. I use the Maple Leaf chub pork sausage. (It is a seasoned pork sausage) I leave out the zucchini just because of personal preference. I cook the tortellini in a pot on the side then add once it is ready to be served. The pasta does absorb the liquid by the next day however just add more beef broth or water to the pot. Also make sure you buy a good quality Italian seasoning, it will make a difference. This is by far the best soup recipe I have come across. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

Reviewed: May 11, 2011
I was skeptical at first when I saw refrigerated crescent rolls in this recipe. But, they turned out very good. The hardest part was waiting for it to cook and cool as the butter and cinnamon topping smelled so good. The taste of this was well worth the wait!!! I will make these again.

Baby BLT

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
I followed the recipe exactly. Turned out great. My cherry tomotoes were very small so I cut them in half and scooped out the seeds and put in the filling. Do make sure you use real mayonaise. I did not think they were that difficult to make, not all that time consuming. Covered them and put them back into the fridge until I was ready to serve them. They really do taste like a BLT.

Curried Butternut Squash and Pear Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2010
This soup turned out wonderful and flavorful. Perfect amount of spice to it. I think the longest part is waiting for the butternut squash to cook, other than that the soup is made in no time. This is a very thick and hardy soup perfect for autumn weather.

FANTASTIC! I halfed the recipe and still came out with one loaf pan and 6 generous sized muffins. I made the recipe exactly as stated and was very moist. Loved it.

Baked Hash Browns

So tasty. I am always looking for different ways of preparing potatoes. This was an easy and simple recipe that I will keep using again and again. I didn't use salt or garlic powder and thought it still came out delicious.

I too had my doubts about turning the oven off after one hour but I did it and it turned out wonderful. Just enough spice on the roast. This is definitely a keeper and will make again. I have used this recipe a few times now and it always turns out. Thanks Salsiepie for a sharing your recipe.

These were very good and simple to make. I only used 1/2 cup of the white sugar and found them plenty sweet. I did not use the topping. I will definitely be making these again.

Very tasty ham glaze. Different as has no brown sugar. I make this the night before and let the ingredients mingle then the next day microwave just to make pouring easier. This has never failed yet.
