These were good!! Much better than the recipe on the back of the bag. I did switch the recipe up a little, thats why I didn't give it five stars. I added 1/2 tsp cream of tartar, substituted 1/2 the white sugar with brown and decreased the flour to 2 1/4 cups, I omited the walnuts also. I cooked for 12 minutes and these came out crispy and really good. Next time I would add another 1/4 cup of flour. The cookies were flatter than I liked after I decreased the flour. My husband loved them and called them the best chocolate chip cookies I ever made. I would agree flavor wise, but looks wise I made them too thin. I think the next time with more flour will be the perfect chocolate chip cookie.
