About this Cook
I learned to cook on my electric stove in my first apartment. I still swear that cooking on an electric stove is better than cooking on the gas stove I have now! Baking is my first passion, but I enjoy cooking dinner for friends and family too. When I'm not in the kitchen, I'm being a mommy to my sweet little girl, being a wife to my hubby, and running my home-based business. I can also be found surfing the internet or curled up on the world's most comfortable couch (lucky me - it's right in my living room!) with a good book.

Broccoli with Garlic Butter and Cashews
My aunt made this at a family get-together and it was a HUGE hit! Everyone gobbled it up and even went back for seconds. It's 2 days later and I'm totally craving it. I'm sure it would also be great with fresh green beans but the broccoli "soaks up" the sauce perfectly so I think I'll stick with the little trees. :)

Baked Ziti IV
Spectacular! The only thing I did differently was that I used cellentani noodles instead of ziti and I used ground turkey instead of the beef & sausage. I also used a little more mozzarella because we like things CHEESY at our house! It was soooo yummy! I'm making it again for company tonight!
