My cooking triumphs
My second yr of marriage for Christmas..made my first "Kings Bread". My first yr. was a disaster, but my husband was a gentleman and ate it as my inlaws did too. It was so hard and dull tasting!!!
My cooking tragedies
Me and my gfriend were 11 and we wanted to make everyone cocoa wheat..we got the water, wheat flour and cocoa powder..we put it all together in a pan with a some sugar too. Needless to say, we burned the pan, the flour just clumped up and the cocoa just laid there. The sugar was the only thing that dissolve along with the bottom of the pan.Smoke everywhere. Last time we tried cooking in a long time. Gramma started teaching me to cook!!!

Spicy Glazed Pecans
This was great. I added a bit more hot since my husband loves spicy..I use walnuts, pecans and anykind of nuts...

Barbacoa
My fiance is Mexican and he said it should be just a bit more spice..a bit more garlic and an extra guallijo chili. It turned out fine except for this. I actually used cow cheeks and there was alot of meat on it. Depending on your area you might have to order the cow cheeks ahead of time. I am going to try it again but upping the spices a bit. Overall it was pretty darn good..for your info too, barbacoa was actually made with lamb or goat meat in the past..
