B.L.A.T. Wraps

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2012
I just used mayo instead of ranch. I did try with ranch and it's great, I'm just a bigger fan of mayo than ranch. Great recipe! Simple, but I wouldn't have really thought about crumbling the bacon, and I usually eat my BLTs with bread so it gave me some good ideas.

Easy Red Pepper Hummus

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2012
This hummus recipe was pretty good, but I roasted the red pepper and it made a huge difference, and also added some cumin. Roasting a red pepper isn't hard and it really adds a certain flavor to it, so I recommend it that way! This recipe is fantastic!

Twilight Dark Chocolate Truffles

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2012
These turned out fantastically! They were simple, and tasted just as good as any of the ridiculously expensive truffles you buy in the store. I left out the espresso powder and it was really really good, so if you don't like coffee flavor, don't hesitate to make them without the optional espresso! Another thing my friend and I did was with the melted chocolate mixture in the sauce pan, after we poured almost all of it into the bowl to cool, was dip strawberries in the still hot melted mixture. It was amazing!

Brown Sugar Smokies

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2012
These are so delicious! Mine turned out tasting a bit odd, but it may have been something I did to make it not turn out as good. Still delicious though!

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2012
I made these for my little sister and she loved them! I'm not a huge fan of sugar cookies in general, but these were actually pretty good! I was surprised how well they came out. Watch the serving size though because it makes a LOT!

Sweet and Sour Chicken I

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2012
This recipe was delicious! I cooked it by myself and it was a little stressful trying to get the different parts done at the same time, but it wasn't too bad and with more experience/one extra person to help it would be very easy! Instead of the vegetables suggested I used red peppers, onions, carrot slivers, and of course pineapple. I sauteed all the vegetable and mixed the sauce in and kept the chicken separate. I served it with rice. It tasted just as good as any restaurant. Highly impressed with this recipe!
