Chicken Breasts Pierre

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2013
I never get sick of this recipe! My boyfriend and I love it so much that we have it weekly. I agree that red wine should she substituted for half of the water called for. Also I cook it with the lid on for 30 min. and then remove the lid for the last 10 minutes so that the sauce can thicken up a bit. Caution, because this will leave you with less sauce but a more intense taste. Bon apetit!

Spaghetti Sauce with Ground Beef

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2013
This recipe is delicious!!! My boyfriend loves Italian yet we both have busy schedules that don't allow much time for prep. He's happy with some cooked pasta and a jar of store bought tomato sauce but I can't stand bland. This satisfies both us because it is quick and savory. Thanks you so much for sharing the recipe. I changed nothing as it's wonderful as is.

Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie

Reviewed: May 22, 2012
I did as the other reviewers recommended and used 1 can of cream of coconut (about 1 cup) and enough half and half to amount to 3 cups (about 2 cups) . Switched out the flour for cornstarch and followed the remaining directions as written. This was delicious! Picky 5 star restaurant boyfriend Loved it. Thank you.

Triple Dipped Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2012
I had to add a lot of seasonings to save the taste of this dish only to have my efforts fall into the oil as the chicken cooked. This was disappointing.

Tropical Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2012
Very yummy! I followed the directions exactly except instead of using garlic salt and onion salt I used garlic and onion powder. I used an extra 1/2 tsp. of soy so I think it all balanced out. I marinated overnight in the seasonings and cooked the chops on the stove top. I added diced squash, red, yellow, and green peppers on top of the chops with pineapple rings on the last ten minutes of the cook time and it all turned out beautifully. Presentation was lovely. The veggies were sweet but not overpowering. Once the chops were cooked, I saved the juices and as many reviewers advised I added cornstarch to thicken it up a bit and served over the veggies, chops and mashed potatoes. It all worked beautifully. Hubby was very happy. We had tons of sauce left over and hubby recommended that we use it for a future chicken dish. I received compliments on my "creativity". Thank you Jeanette!
