Quick Black Forest Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2005
Yummee! This was quick and easy. I forgot to add the chocolate chips to the batter and it was still very chocolatey and rich. Thanks for the recipe!

Butter Snow Flakes

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2005
These are phenomenal! They are very flavorful and rich. Just perfect. The dough was just right and did not jam up my press in any way. As someone else said, they are very easy to eat (like popcorn). Thank goodness Christmas only comes once a year! As for baking time, 9 minutes did it for me. Thanks for the excellent recipe!!!

Pike's Gooey Syrup

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2005
Very sweet and very yummy! We still prefer maple syrup on our pancakes, but when we get low on syrup this makes a nice change.

Sweet Potato Cookies II

Reviewed: May 3, 2005
These cookies came out more like baking powder biscuits! Not at all like a typical cookie. They had pretty good flavor the next day. I followed the recipe exactly and then added about 1/2 cup of shredded zucchini. I made one sheet and decided to use the rest of the dough for biscuits. They are very pretty with specks of orange and green and they are not too sweet so they'll go well with a ham dinner. Not what I expected, but interesting just the same. Also, my 2 year old likes them even though there are veggies in them!! Thank you!

Easy Morning Glory Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2003
This is the second time I made these--this time I reduced the oil to 1/2 cup and added 1/2 cup of applesauce. They were still very moist and delicious. I also reduced the coconut by half to reduce the fat content. I grated everything by hand, so the prep time was more like 30 minutes (but still worth the work). Next time I will double the recipe and use a food processor. I ended up with 18 standard size muffins. They were a big hit with the family.
