Creamy Hot Cocoa

Mmmmm... This recipe belongs in front of a crackling fireplace on a snowy night. Sweet, creamy, chocolatey- truly a gourmet hot cocoa! As per others' suggestion, I used only 1/2 cup sugar and found it perfectly sweet. I also snuck in a hint of caramel syrup and swapped the half and half for a small scoop of vanilla fudge ice cream. Positively divine!

General Tao Chicken

Excellent recipe! I followed it as best as I could with what I had in the house and had a wonderful surprise for my husband who loves General Tao chicken. It's a long process so it will have to be saved for special occasions.

Butternut Squash Soup II

I have a double batch sitting in my freezer- with plans to make more as soon as it's gone! Everyone loves this recipe. I used 1 large sweet potato instead of the 2 medium potatoes and it's delicious!

Salmon with Pecan Honey Glaze

Absolutely delicious! I made this for my husband's welcome home supper when he came back from military training and it's the only salmon recipe I've made since! The only changes I made were using oil instead of butter and switching the pecans for Sliced almonds (we like almonds better). Excellent recipe!

Vegan Brownies

Excellent brownies! I had a guest over who was allergic to eggs so I made this for dessert. Instead of 1 cup oil, I used 2/3 cup oil and 1/3 cup applesauce and it was not oily as some others complained. Some said it was not chocolatey enough but I used Dutch cocoa and it was great!
