Curried Butternut Squash and Apple Bisque
I made this soup for my family, and it was outstanding. Not only did it have complex flavor but made the house smell wonderful! I have been searching for a soup such as this for quite a while. I did make some modifications, simply because I didn't have the ingredients on hand. I'll try to make it correctly the next time around. The modifications I made included: using cubed organic butternut squash from Costco (still browned a bit in oven), a regular yellow onion and a couple shallots instead of the "sweet" onions, Suki's curry sauce was used for the curry along with a bit of water, Gala instead of Granny Smith's, and dried cilantro instead of fresh.

Veggie Goulash
I made 4 servings of this recipe, and it tasted wonderful. Instead of the meat substitute listed, I used another one that was sold at Wild Oats. (I don't recall the brand, but it was a crumbly type of "meat" that looked like hamburger.) I also added caraway seeds, doubled the garlic, and added some pasta. We will definitely be making this recipe again.

Moong Dal
Quite tasty. I couldn't get Asafoetida, so put some onion powder in instead. (I had read that the spice is used as a substitute for onion...I know it isn't a perfect substitute, though.) I put 4 serrano peppers in and it was moderately spicy. Kudos.
