I just made this dish for Thanksgiving today (11/27/03, and they came out really good. I made one mistake - I over mixed them, and as we all know, when you over whip potatoes, they get glutinous. So, to fix the problem, I took another recipe from Allrecipe.com and combined it with this one. I beat a couple of eggs into the potatoe mixture, snipped a few fresh chives, and baked it at 350 degrees for about 1/2 hour. They were the fluffiest most wonderful tasting potatoes we have ever had. Everone was very impressed with them. Even if I hadn't over-whipped the potatoes, the eggs would have made them better anyway! I'm telling you - it sounds a little funky, but try it, it is worth it!
