This recipe is so good. I did use chicken broth instead of water, and I used one can of biscuits the first time I made it. I didn't think one can was quite enough so I used two cans the second time, and I should have done it the first time(like the recipe says...sigh). The second time I made it I also added a few finely chopped stalks of celery and finely diced portabella mushrooms. The flavor was spot on. I had a little trouble with the cook times. I ended up letting it cook for 4 hrs before I shredded the chicken and put the biscuits in, then I let it cook for about 2 and a half hours after that for a total cook time of 6 and a half hours. It was perfect. love this recipe.
