Quick Alfredo Sauce

I knew that when I saw flour in the ingredient list this was more of a bechemel sauce than a cream sauce. A little tackier texture than what I was after. Good flavor though, but wasn't what I was looking for.

Exquisite Pizza Sauce

I grilled my own pizza for father's day yesterday. With homemade dough and loads of toppings plus this sauce I was told I should open my own pizzeria. I did roast the garlic beforehand and reduce the honey a bit, but it works well the original way as well. Instead of anchovy paste I used wortchershire sauce for the savory component

Easy to make. There are very few recipes on this site that I don't "doctor up" in some way. I didn't have to change a thing. Delicious just the way it is!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

added 3 cups of sugar (instead of 2) and 2 tsp of vanilla (instead of 1). I have been baking sugar cookies for as long as I can remember. I have never found the perfect recipe. Now I have! These cookies were the best. They got gobbled up so fast I couldn't even believe it. Definitely recommend this recipe!!!!

Easy Vegetarian Red Beans Lasagna

made this into a mexican treat. Added spinach to this and mexican spices instead of basil and oregano. Topped with colby/jack cheese. Will be a staple in our house from now on.

didn't turn out. I had stiff peaks. cooked forever and they still didn't turn out. looked goofy and didn't even taste good. the bottom of one pan burned before they were done.

I only used 3 tsp of cinnamon. I also used maple/sugar/cinnamon for the topping. Good with caramel on top and ice cream. Perfect fall cake!

Broccoli Buffet Salad

Great salad for a party. I substitued light sour cream for yogurt and added crasins instead of raisins. Also, I used dry roasted sunflower seeds for a little smoky favor. Delicious and colorful.

These were so delicious!!!! We did turn down the temperature on the oil to 365 instead, and we also didn't have to reheat the iron. That made the process go a lot faster. Please note, this is a very long process. Only take it on if you have a few hours to kill. Well worth it though, taste like funnel cakes
