No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2012
As I am not a huge fan of peanut butter I was hesitant to even try this recipe. After having one bite I was sold. There is just enough chocolate to counteract the peanut butter. It is rich so having more than 3 pieces is not advised. I did and I had to eat a banana afterwards to get the richness taste gone. This is fast and easy to make in a pinch.

Banana Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2012
This was an exceptional recipe. The only changes I made was based on other reviews comments, such as adding 2 bananas instead of 1. This made the banana flavor really come alive. The finished product was like banana bread with more fluffiness. No frosting is needed to make this recipe fantastic as it already is.

Chocolate Walnut Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2012
This is a great dessert for people who like really rich chocolate. I for one do so I loved it. Instead of putting the sugar on top I wonder what crushed walnuts would do for it. Also walnuts mixed in the chocolate? Something to think about...... I did not rate this 5 out of 5 because the first time I made it, the bars were hard to get out of the pan in one piece. Trying again today....

Apple Squares

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2012
I have got to say that this recipe was awesome. I thought that 1/2 cup of apples was not enough so I put in 3 medium sized apples. With this amount it was perfect. There was enough to ensure that great apple taste and that everybody had some. For the topping I accidentally used 2 TBS cinnamon instead of tsp. Got to say that the finish product was just as great. My family loved it. My one brother loves apple and when I gave him 2 pieces he asked for more unknowingly that he already ate 2! One thing that is important when making these, is to make sure that it is not hot. Maybe stick it in the fridge. Also egg replacer works well. Not as well as a regular egg but still good. Will definitely make these again and again. A truly simple dessert.
