Turkey in a Bag

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2010
This is a very simple recipe, as is. No need to add butter as it is incredibly moist and very tasty. Very easy to clean up, and the oven stays clean. Simple, simple, simple.

Creamy Potato With Rosemary Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2006
This is a great recipe and easy to make. I substitute whole milk (and sometimes 2% milk) for the 1/2 and 1/2. It is so thick and healthy and the fresh rosemary is the perfect addition!

Chicken Tortilla Soup II

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2004
Really good soup! Just the right seasoning, with the cayenne, chile and cumin - just what I was looking for. I omitted the bay leaves. I also added chopped celery and carrots, topped with fresh chopped cilantro, chips, fresh avocado and some shredded cheese. Will make again and again.

Garden Fresh Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2004
This took longer to make than I thought, but it was worth it. Had a nice flavor and healthy too. I used ground cloves instead of whole and added some garlic. We really enjoyed it.

Applesauce Brownies I

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2004
Yes, it is more like a "cake" but very moist. It is not the traditional dense brownie. I mixed the chocolate chips inside, omitted the nuts and cinnamon and added used 1/4 c. of cocoa. My kids and husband loved them. Much healthier too. Made 1/2 recipe in 8x8. Will make again and again.

Really yummy. Very simple and quick. Was very thick so I added an additional bouillon cube and water. I omitted the ham and topped with chives. So yummy and filling. Thanks Marge.

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2003
I made this for my mother's 61st birthday and received great reviews. Very moist and delicious. I followed Jonathan's advise and used 1 cup unsweetened applesauce and 1/2 cup of oil (for the oil), added 1/2 t. allspice and nutmeg and substituted walnuts for pecans for the cake and frosting. Instead of mixing the walnuts with the frosting, pressed them on the sides. I also made a layered cake. It turned out great!! This is a keeper. Thank you Tammy.
