Cola Sauerkraut

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2006
Normally, I would have heated up a can of sauerkraut and maybe tossed in some chopped onions and a bit of beer. I can't imagine cooking sauerkraut any other way now. I did add about a Tablespoon of Carraway seed. Loved it. Thanks!

Wisconsin Bratwurst

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2006
Excellent! I made this for my husband. We both loved it and even my 6 year old daughter loved it. I cooked it in my crockpot and planned to cook it on the grill afterwards. Unfortunately, we were out of propane. Still excellent!! Easy cooking with only a few ingredients. Thanks for an easy fabulous meal.

Michelle's Coconut Chicken Curry

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2006
We could only find sweetened coconut milk so there was no need to add sugar. I made it without cauliflower since I didn't have any. I thought it was just the right amount of kick to it but my husband wanted it to be more spicy. Very easy and tasty.

Mexican Bean Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2006
I had to make this without the peppers but it was still great. I used 1/2 the oil and double the vinegar, and green onions. There was a bit of dressing left over but not enough to make a fuss over. Low fat and tasty. Thanks!

Fra Diavolo Sauce With Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2003
Great sauce! I didn't think it was excellent, just great. It needed something. I just can't figure out what that something is. Maybe sauteed mushrooms? Extra garlic?

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2003
So easy yet delicious. Everyone who has tasted this cake loved it. I agree with some of the others that it does NOT need frosting. I've tried it both ways. Hands down, no frosting wins. Powdered sugar on top is truly best way to go with this one. The frosting seemed to take away from the cake. It probably would look really pretty with white chocolate drizzled over the top, though.
