Spicy Chicken Quinoa

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2014
This recipe is fantastic! Easy to make and delicious. It's a nice spin on regular salsa chili (using ground chicken and adding the quinoa). I added a bit more salsa because I wanted to finish up the jar. Finely chopped the zucchini so I could "sneak" it in. Thanks for sharing this yummy (can be one pot) meal.

Craving Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2013
I love baking (and eating the rewards of what I bake) but these cookies....awful! I didn't mind the texture (they are soft, chewy) but the taste. Just not good! You must keep the dough chilled to be able to work the cookies into a ball - very, VERY sticky dough. Would not make again and definitely would not recommend.

Slow Cooker Split Pea Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2013
Amazing!!!!! I only used 6 cups of chicken broth per other reviews and that was the perfect amount! I also did not add potatoes. Followed everything else to a tee. It was ready on low in 5 hours. Love the simplicity of throwing this recipe together. And yes, it is mushy but that is how I know all of my split pea soups to be. Will make again!

Shawn's Study Snacks

Tasty and not too sweet. A nice alternative to use up bananas instead of bread. I imagine you could substitute raisins and nuts with choc chips but I baked recipe as is and was delish!
