I'll have to admit, I was VERY nervous about making this. I love chicken curry but have never made it before, thinking it would be way out of my league since I'm not extraordinary in the kitchen. Nonetheless, I found this recipe to be very tasty, but my husband and I both agreed that it was missing "something", but we couldn't figure out what.
I added carrots, red bell peppers and green onions. Next time, I will leave the carrots out, I didn't care for them at all in this dish. The bell peppers and scallions were nice, though. I used 2 tablespoons of sugar instead of 3. I also added a sprinkle of garlic powder and cayenne pepper and used a bit more curry...I was trying to figure out what this was missing!!
My husband said "this was good, make it again, but it wasn't great". If I could figure out the ingredient that this dish is missing that would make it great, I'd give it 5 stars!!!
