My whole family, including the 2 year old, loved this dish! I made just a few additions to suit our preferences. I used Tillamook sharp cheddar cheese, put salt and pepper on each layer, and added a little garlic salt to the cheese sauce. I used 4 smallish russets and had plenty of sauce, but it definitely needed a 2 qt. casserole. About 15 minutes of baking without foil helped give the potatoes a finished look. They were great hot from the oven and also reheated the next morning. I will definitely be making this recipe again! Thanks!
