About this Cook
I am married to a wonderful man and together we have raised 6 of our kids, and we still have 6 at home. Besides cooking, I love to travel, esp. to the Carribean! I love Jamaican hospitality and Jamaican cousine.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook comfort foods like fried chicken, swiss steak, meatloaf, pot roast, and casseroles. I also love to use my crock pot. I love to bake! Cookies, cakes, pies, and bread.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love hosting huge family meals around the holidays. Everything is kept traditional...Thanksgiving turkey, Christmas ham, Easter ham, 4th of july cook outs.
My cooking tragedies
The first time I ever cooked dinner for my husband I made spaghetti. I didn't know you had to bring the water to a boil first, lol. Needless to say, the noodles tasted like paste, but my husband professed to love it, and even went back for seconds! What a brave man!

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge
Oh my! I just made this and it turned out melt in your mouth fabulous! Thanks for sharing this great recipe. I did do as others, 2 cups of brown sugar, 3 cups of powdered sugar and 1 cup of peanut butter

High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast
Awesome! Instead of using salt and pepper I used Emerils Steak Rub. Made this @ Thanksgiving and I have it in the oven right now as I type this review. The smell is fabulous. By far the best eye of round I have ever had! Thanks for sharing...btw, meat comes out melt in your mouth tender...mmm mmm

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing
If I could give this recipe ten stars I would. I have made this stuffing several times and it has always been a hit. I made this recipe yesterday for a family potluck. We always turn these events into a judging contest...I took first place with this one! Out of approx. 40 people there was only one person who didn't love sister, and she is just weird anyway, lol.
