Australian Deep Fried Chicken Wings

How can anyone properly make these chicken wings without knowing what temperature is required for the oil or an approximation of cooking time?

Vietnamese Chicken and Long-Grain Rice Congee

Wonderful comfort food. Reminds me of what my mother used to make for me, except she used a duck instead of a chicken. Broth will my much richer and the duck fat may be skimmed off and rendered for future use. I love this recipe.

Corn Chowder with Sausage

This is an excellent recipe for a quick meal. To add more corn flavor, I suggest roasting your own corn on the grill and using that instead of canned corn. And don't forget plenty of salt to perk up the flavor. My toddlers absolutely love this soup.

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

A very tender and easy cookie. I used the medium cookie scoop from Pampered Chef to scoop the cookies and didn't have any trouble working with the dough. This doesn't make three dozen cookies, then, but I had to double the recipe anyway because they were so good! Try apricot jam instead of raspberry. Delicious.

Soft Molasses Cookies V

Very good cookie. Add extra cinnamon to the mix. Make sure to blend the dough very well to incorporate all the butter or the cookies will lose their shape in the oven. Roll in sugar before baking and drizzle with melted chocolate after they are cooled for an extra special touch.
