Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2013
made this tonight, with just a few added things, such as garlic and mushrooms sauteed with the onions....did mix half the cheese into the dish then topped it with a sprinkle of the rest and a blend of Romano, Parm, and asiago ( just cuz i had it)....it was amazing....was totally the star of dinner....and i can safely say, i will never use cream of mushroom again...this...is my go to now!! TY so much for posting this!!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2013
made this today, but i did not make it as stated, after i kept tasting it I knew it needed more...I added celery and onion, also a dash of garlic, poultry seasoning, sage, alot of pepper....the cook time was way off for the dumplings, and i only used one can....all in all...it took me 8 hours, and I know because i was home...but still giving it 4 stars because the base was awesome to begin with. will be using this as a base again for sure!! ty for posting!

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2013
Made it last night for a quick and easy dinner and it's a keeper for sure. Added onion and used just a bit more sour cream like some reviews suggested. it sparked a 30 min discussion of all the stuff you could do to this casserole and all the ingredients you could use...I can see how this is going to be so much fun to play with, but loved it as is also.

Buttery Soft Pretzels

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2013
I have a complaint...I CAN'T STOP EATING THEM! lol i had to freeze half just so i would!! these are great, i followed the recipe as written, and did end up adding 2 tablespoons more water as suggested..did not use a floured surface as I didn't need to...they rolled easy for me. I dipped them in a nacho cheese sauce, also from this site, chilled, it taste and has the same consistency as a popular cheese dip at a certain mall pretzel shop...and i have to agree with others, the melted butter brushed on top is a must! love them and will make again and again and again!

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2013
MMMMMMM.....I was a little taken aback by the list of ingredients, but, really wasn't that bad at all.. This was a huge hit! I served it in sour dough bread bowls, topped with cheese and corn chips...Followed recipe to a tee cept omitted the celery. I almost cut back on the spices cuz I thought maybe it would be to spicy, but very glad I didn't. Defiantly even better the next day!! Thank You for posting! This is now my go-to chili.

Ham and Cheese Crescent Roll-Ups

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2013
love how versatile this is...I tried making and rolling as it calls for, and I have to say, yes, its difficult..also rolled over ways other reviewers suggested, rolling into a log, and rolling using the square...I liked the square better..(just looked better to me) I spread a small amount of a brown horseradish mustard inside, added pepperoni, purple onion, ham, and swiss cheese...was very good! you only get a small kick from the horseradish at the end....kinda one of them..''what is that?'' ,moments.... :D It loses one star for me, because no matter how i rolled it, the dough was still soggy...
