Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Delicious! I added a cup of dried fruit & nut mix. The only problem with this recipe is that I cannot stop eating them.

These are delicious!! I made a few changes: substituted almond for anise extract, added some orange zest and Triple Sec instead of plain brandy. Thank you so much for this recipe!

Thanks for the wonderful recipe! As suggested I added some spices to the dough--cinnamon and ginger--and for fun stirred in some chocolate chips. This would also probably be very good with some candied ginger and/or dried cranberries in the mix. Just the thing for a rainy fall afternoon!

Homesteader Cornbread

What a delicious recipe! I made a whole-grain version by using whole wheat flour and stone-ground cornmeal, and the results were fantastic--very moist and excellent flavor. Yum, thank you so much for sharing this!

German Pancakes II

We love this on weekend mornings! It is just as tasty and impressively puffy as our family's Dutch Babies recipe, but easier to make. Great with a dab of fruit preserves or lemon & powdered sugar.
