Slow Cooker Balsamic Chicken

Tried this yesterday. Very good. I had 4 med boneless, skinless chicken breasts already marinated overnight in frig. Used 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar and 3 teas. crushed garlic. I used 2 cans, undrained crushed tomatoes w/basil, oregano and thyme. Added 1/2 teas fresh finely chopped rosemary. 1 large sweet onion sliced. 2 hrs at low and 2 hrs at high. Came out extremely tender and tasty. Served in large bowl w/Grands biscuits. Very easy.

Chele's Halibut

Love this recipe and have used a similar one for years. I use a foil lined broiler pan and then put the halibut w/sauce (I substitute plain yogurt for the sr. crm.)on the broiler rack. That way you can move under the broiler w/no fear of exploding pyrex. Ymmmmy, moist.

Slow Cooker Thai Peanut Pork

Excellent, everybody wanted seconds. Made my own teriyake kinda combo after looking at a few recipes. 1/2 C low sodium soy, 1/4 c honey, 1/4 cup garlic wine vinegar, 2 t. red pepper flakes, and 3 T pickled ginger(because I had it. Puured over a 3 lb boneless pork loin roast. Slow cooker high for 3 hrs. AT 3 hours added 4 cups mini peppers, red, yellow and orange cut in quarters, 1 coarsely chopped onion and a 1/2 can chic broth (low sodium). 2 more hours at low. occasionally basted and turned pork. For pnut sauce, 2 Cups creamy pnut butter(because I had it) and mix w/the rest of the can of chic broth. Mixed well, removed roast stirred in and returned roast. 10 min-20 min max on warm. Serve on platter w/diced green onions, rice pilaf and a green sald. Yummy. Plenty of leftover sauce to spoon on rice and pork. A WINNER.

Garlic Steak with Garlic

Excellent, I used precleaned garlic cloves after 45 min on low mine were still not soft so put all in a metal casserole dish covered w/foil and put in 350 oven w/the sweet potatoes. For marinade covered steaks lightly both sides w/ worchestershire, then some garlic marinade and sprinkled w/Montreal seasoning. Put all in a Pyrex dish, covered and turned a couple times for 2 hours. Grilled to perfection and the soft sweet garlic spread over the top was mouth watering. Will make a nice steak sandwich today!!

Finally a cole slaw recipe w/celery seed. A must have. Apple cider vinegar a winner and brown sugar for a smoother taste. Sweet tart w/celery seed. Yay Jayme.

Slow Cooker Chicken Tetrazzini

Made changes using what I had. Cream of mushroom soup and added mini cut in half yellow, orange and red peppers. Also a small bag of sugar snap peas and some fresh asparagus cut up bite size. Put it all in the pot, as I was not going to be home and slow cooked for 5 hrs on low. Also used unthawed boneless, skinless chicken tenders about 10. I used a half cup of Italian dressing and cut back on the chicken broth. Served over wild rice, excellent my grandkids loved.

Halibut Supreme

Have been using a similar recipe for years. I use sour cream or plain yogurt w/shredded parmesan. The last few minutes place under broiler for a beautiful glaze. Wonderful, dont overcook. Will continue to cook once out of oven.
