Jerky Lover's Jerky - Sweet, Hot and Spicy!

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2013
This has to be the best jerky I have ever tasted!! My first time ever making it, I viewed a few other recipe's and most of the comments before hand. I only changed a few things.. i changed the meat cause I couldn't find anything on the shelf at the grocery store, I used a slab of flank steak from the butcher. I sliced and marinaded it for 12 hours. used 3.5 tablespoons of the liquid smoke. also I just added all ingredients to a big bowl instead of the two steps stated above (just easier for me) Its still in the dehydrator now, been 5 hours, Just checked on it and had to test a small piece, I couldn't resist it anymore lol mmmm mmm mmm wow!! My hubby will be in heaven when he gets home!! Our thanks to you for posting!! CHEERS!!

Wonderful recipe! I added some dried cranberries as well, very tasty! Best to make the day before serving or at least 6-8 hours this allows all flavors to really come alive.

Maple Roast Turkey

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2013
I made my first turkey followed the recipe to a T, it was good but not enough.. The second I doubled everything except the apple cider (3 cups instead of two) and for the fresh thyme and marjoram put half in the bird and sprinkle half all around it, I used a whole lemon all the skin and squeezed it too :) I also buttered my bird a lot lol if you lift the skin on the top, the breast(without ripping, because you have to pull it back over) stuff and rub butter inside under the skin (real butter) wow so tender n juicy and dont forget baste your turkey every 20 min!! set a timer, pain in the butt but well worth it in the end. also I found it is unnecessary to roast for 30 min before you cover.. do that at the end ( uncovered turkey needs basting every 10 min) Do not over cook, follow instruction on turkey weight=time and and check internal temp. I had a lot of complements, I also made the gravy, I myself didn't like it but my guests did.

Best Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2013
What a hit! Great dish, The first one i made was perfect, i used 3 cans of cut green beans (Del monte), two cans of campbell's mushroom soup, two huge cups of cheese and 1 1/2 containers of french fried onions. Cooked in oven @ 350 for an hour. everyone had 2 helpings lol and asking for more.. I had to make a second dish but with the holiday not much was open, the corner store had everything except Campbells soup, just had the cheap stuff.. was not as good as the first one.. Campbell's is a must!!

Melinda's Porcupine Meatballs

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2012
OMG!!! soo good! my kids devoured these and asked if i would make this every night.. I used 3 cheese pasta sauce and i pre-cooked my rice only because i read on another site that it may take quite a while for the rice to cook and I'm not one for crunchy rice. I'm making them again to night. :)
