About this Cook
Moved around the continental US and currently serving in the armed forces. Single mother of 1. Enjoys cooking different recipes and currently making a cookbook taking old and tweaking it with the new.
My favorite things to cook
Anything with a normal American budget: chicken breast, pork chops, hamburger, and sausage.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners prompt new family traditions.
My cooking triumphs
Mastered alfredo sauce (with a twist), teriyaki sauce (garlic style), italian-based dredges, apple crisp, and homemade jumbo cookies.
My cooking tragedies
Undercooked bread (fell at the last 5 minutes), burnt kosher skirt steak (very thin), and overcooked macaroni noodles (first time ever attempting a homemade macaroni casserole).

Stuffed Green Peppers I
Instead of 1 lb ground beef, I use 1/5 lb lean ground beef and 1/5 lb hot Italian sausage. This gives it an additional level of flavor combinations. I do not use tomato soup and instead just use 1 can of whole peeled tomatoes and chop them on a cutting board and use the juice from the tomatoes as the "sauce" to cook down the rice.

Stuffed Shells III
Needed a little more seasoning in the mixture but it made room for a lot of guests and leftovers!

Simple Caesar Salad Dressing
A great alternate from Anchovies. The mustard gave it the salty bite instead.
