OMG, I was just browsing through here and come across Doc Simmons blog. I think he might be am freezing cold down here in NC. It has been in the 20's ..whew..takes my breath just thinking about it. A dogs gotta do what a dogs gotta do. Of course I wish my 2 yorkies all 11 pounds if you add them together(Gordo & Camalot) would not go out every morning at precisely 4am. Heavy frost on the  ground looks like snow! Then Gordo goes down behind the building where the deer were sleeping soundly, runs in there barks blazing, up come the deer it's  then dogs and deer around the house. By this time I am ready to kill him, I am yelling at the dogs, they are yelling after deer and now I am wide awake, shakin in my house shoes and cold to the bone. So here is what I make, so simple:

Hot Chocolate per Bea
5 TBSP at least 63% finely chopped chocolate
(the higher % the sweeter the chocolate)
1 cup fat free milk (or your preference)

Heat milk in microwave for 2 minutes, stir in chocolate to dissolve, add little marshmallows and nuke for another 10 seconds if you like. You can triple up this recipe however you want. Heat on stove top or whatever, great for camping!

I guess for someone who has never drank coffee(yuck) so nasty to my taste buds I like hot chocolate or Russian Tea etc! So have a great cup of "Will" since Joe and Yohann have the coffee grinds! Have a great day!!

Sic 'em Gordo! Good boy! Maybe a little hyperactive for 4am, but Hey! he's just showing signs of life! How funny to watch a Yorkie chasing a deer! Your hot chocolate sounds really tasty. I've never tried using a bar of chocolate before. I'll have to give it a go!

Thanks Doc, if you try this you might be hooked like I was. I usually use that brand that starts with an "L" lol not the "H" brand. Thanks for the comment. I will have to post a pic of Gordo and his deer in the front yard. He herds the cows too. Every one laughs every time they see him in the pics, the cows look like "not again". Camalot has a stomach virus and is under the weather right now. I love reading your blog!! I think you were born to write. I have a lot of recipes on another site that I had joined but I always come back to AR so I might as well just stay here. Have a great day!
