Chicken Breasts in Caper Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2013
I was looking for some 'guidelines' to use for a stuffed chicken recipe and found this caper cream sauce, which is what I was looking for. Made some adjustments, added the whole small jar of capers with juice and added dry mustard (but made much more sauce). We put the caper sauce on a provolone spinach stuffed chicken breast instead. Paired very well and similar to a chicken dish I had at a favorite restaurant. Used the same cooking times but covered the chicken. Thank you for the easy and delicious caper cream sauce, will make again with other chicken dishes!

Fortune Cookies I

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2012
not sure if it's an altitude thing but my cookies stuck to the baking sheet. After reading reviews of others having this issue, I added melted butter to my batter. Turned out great after that. Good taste, easy to put together, just very hot on the finger tips, ended up using paper towels to grab the cookie ends with. I baked 2 cookies at a time and seemed to work well.

Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2012
my son wanted Gingerbread men cookies over the holidays. I never cook with molasses and didn't want to buy some just for one recipe. So when I saw this one with out molasses, I figured I would give it a try. My kids and I found it very easy to follow and mix. The flavor turned out great, the cookies were crisp - perfect for decorating later. Thank you for sharing.

Butter Schnitzel

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2012
We went to a German restaurant recently and had their schnitzel. My husband has been craving it since. We decided to try this one. A very easy and flavorful recipe. We made a dijon mustard cream sauce to accompany our schnitzel. Great dish. Adding to the recipe box and will be making again. Thank you for sharing this.

Buttery Corn Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2011
This was my first time making cornbread. I made two batches. One regular (it came out a touch drier than I was hoping for, but it was my fault, I put it in the oven for the full 27 minutes instead of checking it at 22 min) I made a second batch at my husbands request with minced jalapenos in it. He really loved the 2nd batch. I brought the oven temp. down to 390 and cooked for the full 27 minutes the 2nd time (checking at 22 min.) Great recipe, thank you for sharing! We will be holding on to this recipe.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2011
great recipe. The bread is moist and delicious. I used fresh picked zucchini from our garden. I added just a touch more than the recipe called for. Super easy recipe to have the kids help you add all the ingredients too. Our loaves were gone with in a day. Perfect snack. My husband even took a couple slices and made a sandwich with it. Great recipe, thank you for sharing!

Farmer's Strata

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2011
my sister in law has been making this exact recipe for years. I couldn't find my copy she gave me, so when I found it on Allrecipes.com, I was so excited. I have made this several times for work pot lucks and for relatives for holiday breakfasts (Easter and Christmas). It has always been a huge success! It's worth all the extra time in putting this together. You can swap out the ham and add sausage also, or both. I have even made a "Denver omelet" style strata. So many different options. YUM!

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2011
made this with out the sour cream (didn't have it, will try next time) and it still turned out so delicious and moist. The kids and my husband loved it. It's sadly already gone. Great recipe! 1-23-12 Made this again with the sour cream. Easy enough for my littles to make while I 'supervised'. We doubled the recipe this time, both loaves turned out great. A very moist, flavorful bread. Have already passed this along to a few friends wanting a good banana bread recipe. Thank you for sharing.
